This guide will walk you through creating your first product in License Exposed.

What is a Product?​

A product in License Exposed represents a software application or service that you want to manage licenses for. It can be anything from a web application, desktop software, or even a mobile app. Products are essential for organizing your licenses and tracking usage. They allow cryptographic verification of license keys and provide a way to manage different versions or editions of your software, ensuring that users have the correct access based on their license type.

Step-by-Step: Creating a New Product​

  1. Navigate to Products

    • In the main navigation menu, look for Products. Click on it to go to the Products page.

  2. Start Creating a New Product

    • On the Products page, click the Add Product button
    • Enter the required information for your new product:
      • Name: Enter the name of your product (e.g., "My First App").
      • Description: Additionally you can enter a description to make it easier to distinguish your products
    • Click the Submit button to finish creating your product.

  3. Done!

    • You will be redirected to your new product’s overview page, where you can manage licenses, view usage, and more.
